LattaHarris Welcomes Mitch Richman, Vance Glaser, and Elainie Turner as New Principals

Washington, Iowa – LattaHarris, a leading Eastern Iowa CPA firm for its commitment to excellence, proudly announces the addition of three distinguished professionals, Mitch Richman, Vance Glaser, and Elainie Turner, to its team of experts.
Mitch Richman
With nearly two decades of service, Mitch Richman, has been an anchor in our team, showcasing expertise in pre- and post-tax planning, financial statement preparation, and offering insights in general business consulting. Mitch obtained a degree in Accounting and Finance through the University of Iowa and holds his Enrolled Agent certification. Beyond his outstanding professional contributions, Mitch exemplifies a commitment to our community as he held the treasurer position for the City of Durant for 13 years and participates in both the Durant Athletic and Music Booster clubs. His passion for mentoring, whether it’s inside the firm or in the community, embodies leadership qualities that inspire everyone around him.
Vance Glaser
Vance Glaser, who joined the team in 2018, has rapidly ascended in rank, and most recently was promoted to the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. Having honed his skills across multiple industries, Vance brings a fresh perspective and deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by agricultural businesses and has specialized in taxation since joining the firm. From financial strategy to meticulous analysis, Vance is geared up to support and guide our clients, ensuring their financial health and growth. Vance is an alumnus of the University of Iowa, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. Vance’s dedication to the profession is evident through his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designations.
Elainie Turner
Elainie Turner began her association with LattaHarris, LLP in 2015, as an intern, making her the youngest principal in the firm’s history. Specializing in small business and agriculture taxation, Elainie’s holistic approach ensures seamless financial management for her clients, incorporating bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and QuickBooks expertise as she currently holds the Director of Accounting position inside the firm. With a B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa, Elainie’s leadership extends beyond her professional role, actively engaging in community involvement as the President of the Kids Corral Inc. Daycare Board, member of the Main Street Washington Board and past president of the Washington Chamber Ambassadors.
