Jim has extensive experience providing tax, accounting and business planning and advisory services. He serves clients in various industries including agriculture, construction, and retail. Jim’s specialties include income tax planning and compliance for individuals and closely held businesses, financial statement preparation and business advisory services.

Jim received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with highest distinction from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jim serves as Treasurer for the Tipton Lions Club, Cedar Manor and Cedar County Friends of Historic Preservation.

Jim retired in 2021 from LattaHarris and remains a member of our team working on special projects and as a seasonal tax reviewer.
