Jim brings over 25 years of extensive experience in tax, accounting, bookkeeping, and consulting to his role. His expertise lies in working with commercial businesses, farm entities, and individuals, providing comprehensive services such as tax planning and preparation, financial statement preparation, and general consulting. Jim’s specialization encompasses corporate, partnership, and personal tax planning and preparation, as well as the preparation of financial statements. Additionally, he offers valuable insights in business consulting and management services. Jim is well-versed in various software platforms, including QuickBooks, Farm Business Systems (FBS), and Creative Solutions.

Jim earned his B.A. in finance and business administration from the University of Iowa and is an active member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants (ISCPA).

Beyond his professional commitments, Jim holds the position of President of Tipton Economic Development Corporation. He also serves as the Financial Secretary of the Knights of Columbus – Father Eugene Benda Council #11468 and is an engaged member of the Tipton Lions Club. Furthermore, Jim actively contributes to the Tipton Development Commission Board of Directors.

In his leisure time, Jim prioritizes spending quality moments with his family. He finds enjoyment in pursuits such as golf, music, football, and baseball. As a passionate Iowa Hawkeye and St. Louis Cardinals fan, he follows their endeavors with great enthusiasm.
