Joey joined LattaHarris, LLP in 2025 and works in the Iowa City office as a staff accountant. Prior to joining the team, he worked a busy season internship at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in their Business Tax Services division and prepared tax returns with Iowa City’s V.I.T.A. program.

Joey is originally from Iowa City and graduated from The University of Iowa in 2022. He earned a B.B.A. in Accountancy and a B.M. in Music Performance and graduated with honors and high distinction. In addition to his pursuits as an accounting professional, he is a professional trumpeter having toured internationally with Tim Zimmerman and The King’s Brass for 3 years. He was also a member of The Disney All-American College Band and plays in regional symphonies, pop bands, and freelances throughout the Midwest as a jazz musician.

When not pursuing his accounting or music careers, he is an avid powerlifter and trains in Iowa City. He also enjoys watching Hawkeye football and cooking natural, organic food.
