Marcy embarked on her accounting journey in 1999, marking the beginning of a successful career. Her areas of specialization encompass corporate, partnership, and personal tax planning and preparation, financial statement preparation, general business consulting, as well as handling returns for grain elevators and ministry organizations.
With a B.A. in accounting and a minor in communication studies, Marcy holds a degree from The University of Iowa. Her commitment to professional excellence is reflected in her memberships with the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and ISCPA (Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants).
Although officially retired from LattaHarris in 2021, Marcy continues to contribute her expertise to the team as a seasonal tax preparer, ensuring her knowledge and skills benefit clients during crucial times. Beyond her professional pursuits, Marcy passionately supports the Iowa Hawkeyes and takes delight in attending live concerts, and enjoys time with her growing family.
